The Greatest Show on Earth

The Greatest Show on Earth

Those of us who enjoy watching sport on Sky Television are currently being treated to a highly entertaining advertising campaign, under the banner The Greatest Show on Earth.

Paying homage to the Victorian era circus promotions of Barnum & Bailey, these dramatic advertisements feature actor Idris Elba as the Ringmaster and an array of sporting superstars as ‘circus’ performers. It is great entertainment and puts me in mind of the forthcoming SBC Summit Barcelona, and its own growing claim to be our industry’s Greatest Show on Earth.

A ‘must-attend’ event in your calendar

This global betting & iGaming exhibition and conference is now a must-attend event in the calendar of sports betting and iGaming professionals from across the globe and covering all verticals. Featuring 15,000 attendees, 450 speakers, seven conference stages and seven dedicated zones, the size of the exhibition floor has been doubled to 38,000sqm, accommodating over 300 exhibitors.

To ensure that each vertical is represented and make it easier for delegates to navigate the exhibition, the 2023 floor space has been split into a Sports Betting Zone, Casino & iGaming Zone, Payments & Compliance Zone, Affiliate, Marketing & Media Zone, Emerging Tech, Blockchain & Metaverse Zone and the newest addition to the zoning concept, the Esports & Gaming Zone.

Rasmus Sojmark, CEO & Founder of SBC, says: “Having dedicated zones ensures that delegates can familiarise themselves with the latest trends and strategic approaches shaping the industry.”

The diverse conference schedule boasts a speaker line-up of 450 professionals delivering 80 hours of content covering sports betting, casino, iGaming, payments, emerging technologies, innovation, digital marketing and safer gambling.
